wednesdays 6:30-8:30 pm
This 5 week clas sequentially leads people through the theory and practical application of mind-body healing and Ayurveda. Each participant will learn their mind-body constitutions (doshas), learn mindfulness meditation, develop a daily ayurvedic routine, learn about ayurvedic nutrition, learn gentle energy-opening yoga postures (these postures can be done in a chair), how to awaken the body's inner pharmacy, and create emotional freedom.
Patience has lived in the Tahoe area for over 20 years. She has a husband and four children (now adults), is a local realtor, attends Sierra College and loves to teach. She is certified by the Chopra Center as a Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga Instructor, Perfect Health Instructor and Ayurvedic Consult.
