The Mindfulness -Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program has benefited people suffering from chronic illness, pain, stress, sleep disturbances, grief and loss, substance abuse, depression and caregiver fatigue. It is a low-tech, low-cost, self-reliant, holistic modality for everyone regardless of experience or ability.
MBSR is an 8-week intensive training in mindfulness meditation for use in daily life and to help navigate life’s inevitable difficulties.
What to expect:
- 8 weekly two-hour classes beginning Sunday, January 3, 2021
- day-long retreat on Saturday, February 6, 2021
- guided mindfulness meditations
- gentle movement
- group dialogue
- exploration of the pathophysiology of stress
- mindful eating
- make everything you do into a mindfulness practice
Learn how to complete the stress cycle and find more balance in life!
