Monday Night Meditation : Shifting from Thought to Awareness
Jon has been sharing meditation on Monday nights for 15 years. Monday night topics include opening into awareness, recognizing resistance and letting go of effort and contraction. Just Sitting begins at 5:30 and is a silent meditation with little or no instruction except the bell. 6:00-6:30 is discussion of meditation related subjects and at 6:30 there is a guided meditation with enough instruction for beginners and 20 minutes of silence. Participants are encouraged to share in any part or all of the practice. If meditation is in progress please enter quietly and take a seat.
